Q. What is THC TONIC?
A. Sparkling water infused with real fruit/ingredients and hemp-derived Delta 9 THC!
Q. What’s the difference between hemp-derived THC and marijuana-derived THC?
A. Chemically there is no difference between the two and the effects are the same – hemp is the same plant but contains less than .3% THC on a dry weight basis.
Q. Is it legal to produce & sell?
A. Yes! As of July 1, 2022, the state of Minnesota legalized products that contain hemp-derived tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary intoxicant found in cannabis plants. Products may contain no more than 5 mg per serving and no more than 10 mg per beverage package.
Q. How does drinking THC affect a person and is it safe to consume?
A. Sensitivities to THC vary from person to person and everyone is unique and tolerance varies. We recommend starting slow to find what works for you. Effects can typically be felt in fifteen+ minutes and last for about an hour to 2+ per serving. We encourage anyone trying cannabis for the first time to be well-informed, start with a very small dose (1 to 2.5 mg/ an ounce or two from a can), and gradually build up as they become more comfortable.
Delta-9 THC affects everyone differently, and individual responses can vary significantly based on factors like tolerance, metabolism, and body chemistry. For example, someone who uses THC regularly might experience mild relaxation from 10 mg, while someone new to THC may find it overwhelming. This variability is why starting with a lower dose, such as 1–2.5 mg, is strongly recommended for those new to THC products.
