On Thursday, October 14th, we will be releasing our second barrel-aged bottle of the season, Imperial Pumpkin Ale! Bottles will go on sale at 4PM in the Growler Shop. This year’s version of our beloved Imperial Pumpkin Ale was aged in Ex-Jamaican Rum Templeton Rye Whiskey Barrels barrels for 11 months. The result is a dreamy smooth slice of rum spiced cake topped with a rye whiskey caramel sauce. Hints of cinnamon, clove, ginger, and all spice swirl in every sip alongside the malty, caramel notes from the base of the beer. Barrel-aging this for 11 months in Templeton Rye Caribbean Rum Cask Finished barrels accentuates the vanilla and rye spice while adding subtle, exotic flavors and tropical fruit tones. Coming in at 10.8%, this year’s Barrel-Aged Imperial Pumpkin Ale is by far the smoothest rendition of this yearly tradition.
